Following the successful launch of the U12 Hotshots camps in September 2019, Basketball NSW recently conducted another round of Hotshots in February 2020 with camps at Norths and Bankstown Basketball Associations.

The program kicked off on Sunday the 2nd of February, with two camps being held at the Bankstown Basketball Stadium and Norths Indoor Sports Centre.

The camps hosted 80 junior athletes and a dozen coaches with Basketball NSW Program Coaches, Will and Macs leading the way. The Coaches lead athletes on developing a couple of the “Super 6” skills – dribbling, passing, pivoting, shooting, 1v1 defence & decision-making on a very warm day.

Great effort was displayed by everyone on the day and we wish all our Basketball NSW junior athletes the best of luck for their upcoming junior representative season.

Hotshots will look to continue to build on this momentum with future camps to be held in other parts of the city for the next upcoming school holidays.
