Basketball NSW is thrilled to welcome everyone to this year’s Spalding Waratah League and GTK Waratah Wheelchair League (Powered By Spalding) Finals weekend hosted by Bankstown & Sutherland Basketball Association.

Over the course of the two days, we will see 24 intense games of competition across seven divisions – all vowing it out to be crowned Grand Final Champions.

With plenty of action on the court, Basketball NSW has provided a few helpful pieces of information for ticket holders and or basketball fanatics that will be watching from home.

Ticket Details:

It is highly encouraged that tickets are purchased online prior to the event to avoid any queues and wait times, which are purchased HERE. Tickets can be purchased at the front door.

Bankstown will be holding four semi final games on Saturday only. They are the Waratah 2 Youth Women &  Waratah 1 Youth Men. All other matches will be held in Sutherland.

  • Sutherland Basketball Stadium (Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th)
  • Bankstown Basketball Stadium (Saturday 26th)

** Note tickets will be accepted at both venues no matter location of purchase.

Venues:

Bankstown Basketball Stadium: 2 Third Ave, Condell Park NSW 2200

Sutherland Basketball Stadium: Waratah Park, Rawson Ave, Sutherland NSW 2232

Parking

Both venues will be offering free parking, however please be mindful of the mass amount of spectators that will be arriving and departing throughout the weekend. Please be safe and kind to one another.

Food and Drink:

Both stadiums’ canteens will be open during the weekend, alongside their barbecues, to give a wide selection of choice for food and drink whilst you cheer on your teams! Please see local signs for opening hours and menus. 

Program:

The official program will be released on Saturday morning with QR codes posted around the stadium and or through our social media channels. In the program you will find all the information about the team lists and other notes for the weekend.
