Basketball NSW would like to congratulate the referees, referee instructors and scoretable officials who will officiate this years’ Northern and Southern Under-12 John Davidson Country Jamboree in the coming weeks.
The Jamboree is a pathway program for players, coaches, referees and officials alike, designed to give young and developing athletes and officials, located in country regions, a chance to develop in a High Performance environment.
Head of Technical Officials, Steve Clark, expressed his excitement for the 2023 Jamboree, and the opportunities it gives for country referees across the state to continue to develop their skills within the Basketball NSW referee pathways.
“I would like to congratulate and extend my best wishes to all the referees and officials below, who have been selected for this year’s John Davidson Country Jamboree. This event marks another of numerous opportunities for our talented and aspiring officials to put their honed skills into action, alongside our junior elite teams,” stated Clark.

BNSW is also running a free scoretable course on the first day of both Jamboree weekends. The course will run from 9am – 12pm, and in attendance will be Greg Stevenson for the Northern Jamboree, and Maddie Thacker for the Southern Jamboree. To attend this free course, participants must be aged 16 years or older.
