The role of the technical officials is to ensure the game is played in a fair and safe manner and within the rules. Refereeing is the most physical active as they are on-court and “call” the game. Other technical officials perform various roles on the scoretable and statistics and further information about each role is given below.

Each year Basketball NSW enters teams into Basketball Australia's National Championships in the U20's, U18', U16', Wheelchair Basketball and for Players with an Intellectual Impairment.

This program is open to all boys and girls. These skill days are for anyone starting with basketball as beginners to representative level; the most important aspect is that all players have fun and learn something new. Born in 2013 or 2014.
'Be ready, Stay Ready'. These camps are for male and female players in the U14, U16, and U18 age groups (born 2006-2012).

Ages: 10-17 years. This is an extension of the Come & Try programs, and the next step for girls looking for a little bit more. Skills and drills will be on offer in addition to game play.

FREE Awesome Autumn Slam camp, giving boys and girls (ages 10-19) of all skill levels a chance to take to the courts for some skills and drills, 3x3 action and a few mini competitions. Registration is required (as an individual) and teams & draw will be formed on the day.
