In a thrilling display of talent and basketball fun, Basketball NSW witnessed a turnout of 166 teams during five of 3×3 Big Hustle Qualifier events in 2023.
With events hosted in Bathurst, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour & Illawarra these high-octane tournaments, now will set the stage for an epic showdown at the 2024 NBL 3×3 Big Hustle NSW State Championships on the 27th of January in Kingswood.
Adding to the excitement, the Sydney Comets Basketball Association also hosted a Qualifier event on December 16th, 2023, adding an extra layer of intensity to the already electrifying series of competitions.
Each event brought its own unique flavour and showcased the diverse talent that makes basketball in New South Wales truly exceptional.
The grand culmination of these heated battles will take place at the 2024 NBL 3×3 Big Hustle NSW State Championships, set to unfold on January 27th at the Western Sydney University’s Kingswood Campus outdoor multipurpose courts. The event is set for an unforgettable day, where the best of the best will compete for the ultimate title and the chance to represent NSW on the national stage. The event is set to feature plenty of entertainment for all ages and a festive like atmosphere with food trucks and music.
Basketball NSW would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to all 166 teams who participated in the qualifying events. The sheer dedication, passion, and sportsmanship displayed by every player has elevated the 3×3 Big Hustle Qualifiers to new heights.
As we gear up for the State Championships, we wish the qualifiers the best of luck in their quest on their journey to the National Championships with a venue & date yet to be confirmed.
