In a gripping display of basketball skill, Basketball NSW saw a turnout of 62 of the best teams in the state at the 3X3 Big Hustle State Championships over the weekend, as teams battled it out for a ticket to Nationals!
Western Sydney University’s (Kingswood Campus) outdoor multipurpose courts set the perfect backdrop for endless hustle and layups on Saturday, complete with food-trucks, a DJ and an impeccable atmosphere.
The wet weather couldn’t stop the action, and despite a relocation of the event to Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre, the action didn’t cease for a moment, featuring nail-biting games for players and spectators alike!
Basketball NSW would like to extend a proud congratulations to each player from the 62 teams, who displayed dedication, passion, and sportsmanship, all whilst having fun and setting a high benchmark for 3X3 in the state.
BNSW would also like to thank all the parents, spectators, officials, and referees who contributed to the exemplary ambience of the day.
A huge congratulations to the 25 teams that achieved first, second or third place in their divisions at State Championships and are now setting their sights on a 3X3 National Championship title! We wish them the best of luck in their preparations for Nationals, which will see the best teams in the country gather for a thrilling competition.
The location for the 2024 3X3 Big Hustle National Championships has been announced for Perth, which will be held over the Easter weekend. The event will feature the 3X3 Junior Nationals and the Scarborough Beach SLAM, with a festival feel and amazing activities to engage athletes and families all weekend. Junior Nationals pool games will be played at Herb Graham Stadium, with Finals being played at the beach on Scarborough Beach Foreshore.

- Monday 1st April – Pro Hustle Pool Games & Finals, and Dunk competition (Scarborough Beach)
